Job vacancy: Inclusion Teaching Assistant
Astbury St Mary’s Primary School has a vacancy for a teaching assistant to support children with additional needs. 32.5 hours SCP 4, term time only.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children in a primary school, leading small groups and supporting with interventions. They will also have experience of working with children with a range of special needs. They will need to have experience of working with outside agencies and be able to ensure that inclusion plans and EHC implementation plans are kept updated. They will be enthusiastic and motivated and will have a distinct understanding of inclusion and special educational needs. The candidate will be required to work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure that progress in the curriculum and EHCP targets are enabled.
