School Council  – Update on the Toy and Silent Auction

School Council are very happy to announce that we raised £157.17!!

At 2pm we opened the hall up to Key stage 1 and within 20 minutes we had managed to sell out of all the toys! This meant we were left with the big auction prizes, which Years 4/5 and 6 could bid for. We had a big auction in the hall with Rebecka Heathcote as our fantastic Auctioneer. All the prizes went. There were some excellent bidding wars, unfortunately for Mr Wood he was outbid for the chocolate basket! Everybody had a great time and we were asked to do it again so watch this space!

The Silent Auction winner for the Fantastic Stoke City tickets went to Tallulah and Christabel Stanmore-We hope you have a lovely day.

All the money raised will go to the 5 classes, who will decide on new class resources for playtimes.

School Council Reps will be meeting on Tuesday to plan our next fundraiser to help our school.

We would like to thank all the families who helped by donating toys, sweets and chocolates for the auctions and for all the children who enjoyed spending their money.

School Council Toy & Silent Auction

By | School Council

The School Council have organised a first fundraiser, which is a Toy Auction, and a silent auction. The Council have held one in the past and it has been very successful.

The idea of a Toy Auction is to collect old or unused Toys from children in school to sell in school. The toys from home can not be broken or electronic.  On Friday the 1st February the school Council will have tables with the toys on, each table will be a set price for the toys. 50p, £1.00, £1.50 and £2.00. Their will also be Auction prizes of a sweet and chocolate hamper and much more, that children can bid money for.  So please bring in your old Toys from home to help us raise money. We have made poster to put around the school.

We have also had a very generous donation from Mr Whitehead of a prize for a silent auction.  The prize is 2 tickets for the Stoke City vs West Bromwich Albion game on Saturday the 16th March, in the Q-railing box at Stoke City. Families are to complete this form and return it to school in a sealed envelope with their bid.  The highest amount offered will be the winning bidder.

This is a great prize :-

11am   Arrival and champagne reception
11.30am    Tour of the stadium, taking in the media suite, directors seats, players changing rooms, Sir Stanley Matthews suite, pitch side walk with photos of the day.
1pm    Taken to the Q-railing box where a 3 course lunch will be served with complimentary drinks before the  kick off at 3pm

So happy bidding!
